My 20 HP/42 inch cut Husqvarna riding mower has trouble climbing even the smallest inclines. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

That isn't much to go on, suggest that you check the belt for tension and that the dump valve is pushed in. If these do not fix the issue you should take the mower in to a local authorized Husqvarna service center to have it inspected and repaired.
