    Question:
10530SBE Snowblower Auger Belt Slipping. MODEL:96195000101 S#110205M605302. I have had problems with the auger belt slipping due to not enough tension being applied to the belt since it as purchased in Feb 2006. Replaced the belts it least 3 times. The Impeller Arm was replaced in 2010 due to weak design (original part # 532 17 92-59) can't remember however I think it was bent. The new part # 532 18 47 89 for the Impeller Arm/Pad Assembly looked to be a better design. Guess what I still have the same problem with slippage. Now in 2013 I see the design has changed again the new part # 532 42 27 62 and the description has changed to KIT SERVICE IDLER PULLEY. Will this new kit take care of the issue with slippage?? I hate to keep throwing parts at this machine. The kit includes a pulley, what is this for Engine Shaft or Impeller Arm? Why is a belt included in this kit?? If this can't be answered I will supply more info pics etc. hopefully I can put this problem to rest. see 2 pics of impeller arm that was removed from service and the latest revision impellar arm KIT

I have the same problem with the same machine. The dealer has replaced my belts several times.

My machine ran great for the first couple of years even in very heavy snow. After the first belt replacement it ran fine for quite awhile longer before needing replacing, Now if I get a belt replacement it is only good for a couple of snow falls before it starts slipping. There must be something else besides belts that has worn out but my dealer is useless with finding me an answer or suggesting anything. I've reached a dead end.  I'm hoping I can get help here. I don't mind paying to get this fixed. I just need some direction.

This snowblower is the junkyard, I purchased a Toro snowblower and I am very happy with the performance. Husqvarna should stick to making chainsaws!

I've had the same problem but I have fixed it. The replacement belt is not a 5/8 inch x 38 inches. It should be a .59 inch x 37.75 inches. I have been searching for a different belt and it is available at VBeltSupply.com and the part number is V-408010 and a description of "Sears / Roper / AYP Impeller Drive Belt Replacement".  The SKU is OEM12&205.

You will notice that the part number is very close to what is often quoted as the replacement belt.
