    Question:
I purchased a 21 inch push mower from Amazon

When it arrived, there was no apparent damage to the carton

The lawn mower would not start - the electric start would not turn the engine over and pulling the cord was not possible

I took it to one of your authorized repair centers (35 mile drive) in Cedar Lake (R&S) - they told me that the deck was damaged and are charging me $32 for the labor - they claim that the item was dropped during shipping.

All I want is my $32 back - if this item was dropped, it was probably dropped at your factory - If you want to reimburse me and go after the cartage company, that is fine with me

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting you have experienced this issue.

While I understand your concerns the mowers are put in crates by hoists and would not have been dropped at the factory, if it had it would not have been shipped. The mower could become damaged during shipping with no visible signs of damage.

I would ask that you call the consumer technical support line and or ask the dealer ot contact the dealer support line to discuss the state the mower is in.
