Just because the belt looks to be good to the untrained eye doesn't mean it isn't out. On top that the plastic v-idler can be worn out allowing the drive to slip. If not either one of these then there is a problem with hydrostatic transaxle. Anything from lost of fluid to badly worn slip plates in the pump assy.
