    Question:
I just bought a new Poulan Wildthing.
I followed all directions exactly but it will not start. It does not even sputter or try to catch. I took the cover off to ensure the spark plug was connected. All looked fine. I noticed sometimes the rope was easy to pull and sometimes it was difficult.

What can I check or test to determine what the problem may be?

    Thanks

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

I want you to take this to the local authorized Poulan service center. If you have followed the starting procedure and the unit will not run. I do not feel you should be checking anything. This should be checked by one of our dealers.

To find your local authorized service center please use the dealer locator on the following site: http://www.poulan.com
