    Question:
I am interested in the snowthrower 1830HV. When I compare it to you higher end model it states that higher models have a high speed impeller and heavy duty auger housing.

Can you tell me what the impeller speed difference is between the higher models (ex. 14527E) and 1830HV.

Also, the type of auger housing - what does the 1830HV have as compared to 14527E.

    Thanks.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

Thank you for your interest in our Snow Blowers.

The impeller speed is not published either for the Standard or High Velocity machines. The impeller is at an increased speed to aid in blowing the snow further.

After a good bit of research I was able to determine that the auger housing is made from a heavier gage metal on the 1830HV compared to the 14527E 13 gage versus 14 gage.

    Hope this helps.
