Re: 224L I've recently purchased this model from local big box outlet. first the string trimmer would only turn for a while? I returned that one maybe a bad i could go with that. I receive another one brought it home same thing. I posted where to warranty work done on it, was told take to local place. Well after calling several on web site was told the nearest one was over 100 miles away. Not going thru the time and $$ to do that. After looking at other post's on this web site i see i'm not the only one with this issue. perhaps Husgvarna need to look into this problem? So i return it the big box bought another brand much cheaper and with local people to repair?

It is upsetting that you have experienced this concern.
I think had you been able to find a local service center the repair for this would have been very easy and then you would have had years of dependable service, with a great trimmer.
