I understand the serial numbers, but would like to know what the 965 03 02-00 stands for.
Also, which parts list would be the right one for my saw.
The 2004-10
or 2005-01
or 2005-03

Answer
The 965 03 02 part is the base model and -00 is for options was the base was setup with. Such with bar and chain install or not install; heated handle or not.
As for the IPL all three list are valid ipls for the 2005 unit. Of course some parts have been superseded since your saw was made.
