    Question:
    I have Rancher 455 saw and purchased your Sharpforce Chain Sharpener p art number 653 00 00-36, size 5/32" but lost the instructions on use. could not find on your site?

    While also my owners manual became chain oil soaked and cannot read now. Assume 5/32" us correct?

      The 455 can be set up to use either a .325 or .375 (3/8) standard chains. The chain size imprinted on you bar.

      Either way the 5/32 file is for the .375LP chain and would not work. You will need either the 3/16 file for the .325 chain or the 7/32 file for the .375 (3/8) chain.

      If you wondering what year your saw is, it is a 2008 model.

        Thanks for the information Eugen, been meaning to reply , quick response and informative on my chain saw,

        but frustrating to just get electronic copy Manual the saw and workforce instructions from Husqvarna as mine have become unreadable  Seems like a telephone number other than "local" dealers would take of where nearest dealer 100 miles in Wyoming winter.
