    Question:
I purchased a HU700L from Lowes in March. Started using in June. After 4 cuts(area is roughly 5000 sq. feet)the rear drive has collapsed with both wheels and their assemblys detaching from the deck. Now beyond the return period I have taken in for service under warranty. I see on this forum, this
same issue was reported on June 27th. Is there a known design issue with this model and is Husqvarna working on a fix?

    Thank you for contacting AnswerAMY.

I have only heard this one time before. Please take the mower to yoru local Husqvarna authorized service center to see about having the wheels replaced.

I will make the factory aware of the complaint.

You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales and service and parts as well as manuals using the link.

To Scott W. Thank you for your response. After trying no less than 4 dealers, I was finally able to get warrnty service ( the first 3 turned me down saying they wouldn't support me since I didn't purchase the mower there). However, their workmanship was less than ideal and now less than 3 weeks later, I find myself again with a non-working mower. This time I'm inclined to repair myself, so after calling customer service (which I come to find is outsouced to Dixie Sales) I am told they cannot locate my model type and on hold I go. Eventually I am told the IPL has been located and they will fax me. Alas no fax received. At this point all I need is the Illustrated parts list. Is there anyone within your group that can help me?
