    Question:
Last week I purchased a new PP133 trimmer from Amazon. I have not used the trimmer for more than about 15 minutes so far--but have tried 6 times to start it and run it--every tim with the same problem. When I try to pull the starter cord it seems to jam after traveling about 2 inches---then after several tugs--it allows me to pull the cord fully----it will not start until I get to pull the cord fully a few times. It has done this every time I try to start it---the pull cord mechanism seems to jam--then it lets go and lets me pull it fully---could there be some problem with the pull starter mechanism
    Details:

Brand new machine-----registered it with Poulan about a week ago------after I got it started and warmed up I had to turn idle speed scre up to avoid stalling when I released strigger--that works ok now---bit still have problem with jamming pull cord---afraid I will break the cord

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this failure.

In your description, are you coming around to the compression stroke? or do you feel this is something wrong with the recoil itself?

If you feel this is a failure with the recoil please take the unit to your local authorized Poulan service center for inspection and repair of the recoil.
