It is upsetting that you have had this concern.
First I would say the fuel valve may be almost all the way off and that this should be checked or the carburetor may need attention. Secondly there could be a problem with the unloader valve stalling the engine, if when the engine dies you can not pull the recoil rope this would indicate that the unloader is not releasing correctly.
If the fuel valve is open then the unit will need to be serviced by either an authorized Husqvarna service center for the ( pump ) or an authorized Honda engine service center.
