    Question:
Hi. I purchased a 350BT backpack blower just about a month ago – The unit has never remained operating with the choke closed. Seems to run fine with the choke open, but as soon as I close it the unit stalls (even after using it for an hour+). I originally thought that I just needed to break it in but now I suspect something is wrong with it. I’ve only used it twice, and the gas/oil mix is fresh/correct (even using 93 octane). Is there an easy way to adjust this? I’d hate to have to pay for service since the unit is brand new and it looks like I’m past the 30 days :(

     Hi Rich

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

It sounds like a simple carburetor adjustment that would be covered within the first 30 days of purchase. If it is still less than a month old you can take it to any Husqvarna service center. Just follow the link below.

Simple answer-you have no problem.  A motor cannot run with the choke closed as you are cutting off the air supply.  A closed choke is only for starting as it supplies an overly rich gas to air mix.

I  have the 350BT for 6 month and it just started stalling after I accelerate.  It idles & starts fine, but as soon as I accelerate it dies.  I replaced the gas and spark plug, cleared the respirator and nothing worked>  ANY ADVICE?
