    why would a brand new generator start to leak gas out the carb, it hasnt even been used yet

    Hi Steve

    Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. I am sorry to hear you are having issue with your generator.

    The needle could be stuck on the carburetor caused by a defective needle or debris. Take the unit to the nearest servicing dealer

    to looked at for warranty repair or if any Service Bulletins have been issued.
