Question:
I purchased your 23lt48 tractor. Long story short, it was driven a short distance, 200 yds?, without purging the transmission. Called back to store to ask if their dept. did that before final delivery, man said "they come ready to go". Was any damage done? Did it possibly shorten the life to the trans? Mowed with it once, seemed to work fine. Any cause for concern? Thanks.

Have no worries! It sounds like your tractor is running great. If the tractor's transmission was never purged at the factory or dealership, then it will self-purge during operation. The procedures in the Owner's Manual are the best recommendations, but it sounds like your tractor has performed the transmission purge.
