    Question:
I purchased a new PP4218AVX on Jan 10, 2012. It run great but the automatic chain oiler does not work. Unfortenuately I didn't keep my receipt so I can't return the saw. Is there an adjustment on the oiler? I one tank of gas it didn't use any oil. I did use 20 wt bar oil. It simply is not pumping. Is there anything I can do to fix? I purchased the saw at Orscheln Farm abd Home, they do not have service. What can I do? If there's now fix I can do, where can I take the saw for warranty work?

    Nicholas,

The warranty does require a proof of purchase to cover the repairs. You can use any type of cancelled check, credit card statement or bank statement. If none of these can be found, the service dealer can check the serial number and if the saw's serial number is within the warranty period, warranty work can be performed. You should check with your local Poulan dealer for more information. If you do not have a dealer go to www.poulanpro.com and use the service locator.

The oiler on this saw is not adjustable. You may check the opening under the bar and make sure it is not clogged.
