    Question:
Where can I get a repair/rebuild kit for the starter's bendix gear set or a new starter? I bought a HV 10530SBE snowblower in 2006 with a Briggs and Stratton 10.5HP OHV "Power Built Snow" engine. It has a Fasco electric starter 524-975-0. The starter is 120V AC and the "case" measures 3 1/2 inches without the end castings. I can not find the engine model number anywhere. I have taken off every trim and cover plate I could and still no model number on the block or valve cover or anywhere else. I have tried B&S and Fasco but they all want an engine model number. A classic catch 22 situation. Thanks

    Robert,

    Thanks for contacting Husqvarna.

According to the parts list this machine has a Tecumseh engine. All parts including starter parts would have to come from a Tecumseh parts dealer. Without your zip code we can't locate a service center in your area. You can go to our web site and find a dealer near you.

    Thanks again.

      To Greg P.

The engine is labeled Briggs and Strattton and came with a BS manual with an accurate drawing of the motor on the cover (See attached). What now ?
