    Question:
I bought the FX26SCE on February 29, 2012. Followed the instructions and it will not start. I've tried twice on two separate occasions so that any buildup in the carburator may evaporate. The second time was today. It still will not start.

    Hi Franj

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

We regret to note a non-start condition with your recently purchased trimmer.

If you are unable to start the unit after following the instructions and helps in the Owner's Manual, we can only suggest you deliver the unit to an authorized Poulan/Weed Eater service and warranty dealer for evaluation of the problem and correction. If Needed, you can identify such dealers in your area through the Service Locator link on the website.

However, as the unit is new, you might wish to contact the retailer from whom the unit was purchased to see if they would simply just swap out the unit for another.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.

Unfortunately, I destroyed the receipt. Anyway, I would not swap for the same model in case I get a repeat problem. According to your locator, the closest place may not exist any more. If there is a charge, the repair facility will get to keep the trimmer. And my first name is Frank.
