Follow-up:

The "Free Mulch Kit" promotion was run by mistake on Sears.com. We've contacted them and they acknowledged the error and are going to remove the ad. For those who bought the product at Sears and registered it within the timeframe specified within the promotion, we are going to go ahead and send you the free mulch kit.

  As of today July 11, Sears.com continues to offer the free mulch kit promotion. Someone at Sears has not corrected the "mistake". ;-)
  
  Also, I was told by the representatives at Weedeater support that the kit would arrive in 2 to 5 weeks. I am expecting a late July delivery.
