    Hi Lem,

The vehicle was designed to accommodate the 95th percentile of adults, which is generally considered to be about 240 lbs at the higher end of the scale. At slightly heavier weights (like yourself), the vehicle will still function; however, the vehicle's speed and its ability to climb grades will be below target performance.

We've also heard from heavier customers who've had no problem.  Read this testimonial:

"I bought one & I'm at 280. It works for me. It is perfect I am tired of pushing a lawn mower. I don't have a big yard so this is just the right size for the gate & the yard. I will purchase a mulch kit when it comes out. I paid $650 at Walmart for mine."

However, because of your yard's 30" drop, you may want to consider upgrading to a larger yard tractor.  Perhaps a Husqvarna yard tractor at the opening price point?

        Thanks for the reply Mike.

One other question rather than going vertical up and down my ditch how about going horizontal?

          Hi Lem,

Mow up and down slopes (15° Max with a Weed Eater One), not across. Slopes are a major factor related to loss of control and tip-over accidents, which can result in severe injury or death.  Operation on all slopes requires extra caution.  As they say, if you cannot back up the slope or if you feel uneasy on it, do not mow it!

      i have  a weed one 261 and I am 6'2' 265 lbs.Runs fine even at an altitude of 7200 ft.I don't think you will make it up a 30deg. hill or even a 10 % grade.
