    Question:
Weedeater one warranties are not worth the powder to blow them up. My weedeater is only just over a year old. The belt slipped off from it twice and wore a hole through the mandrel cover. The second time it must have bent the blade and brotyke the shaft, I cannot even get the warranty to cover it. Is this all you sell is junk? I really think Weedeater is taking advantage of people for this type of mower that does not hold up. I am on social security and cannot afford to buy this type of trash with no warranty.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

Broken mandrels and bent blades occur from striking a hard object, the belt coming off can not do this. I suspect this is why the belt has come off because of broken mandrel as the result of striking something. This would not be a warrantable repair.

WeedEater does stand behind the product warranty for warrantable failures and those are defects in materials and workmanship.

It is important to understand that not all failures are of a warrantable nature. Those that are will be covered for the warranty period free of charge to the consumer.

I did not hit anything with this  mower it is poorly constructed. There is absolutely nothing in my yard to hit. You don't want to admit your warranties are no good. The products you make are just as bad. I will be contacting the BBB and a local TV station so people will know how bad these mowers are.,

I have had the same thought!  I cannot get Weedeater to honor ANY part.  What a piece of JUNK! The next step for us is the local TV station. We already contacted the BBB and the attorney general, but by the time they act on the SEVERAL issues so many people are having, I will be pushing up daisies from a different direction! Never again..........................

I am having the same issues with Weedeater one not honoring any warranty.  We have been in contact with the company, a certified dealer,  and now the Attorney General AND the BBB, with several issues that this piece of JUNK has to offer.  I guess the next step is to go to our local TV station and maybe get some exposure.  I can only hope to get results, but I figure by the time the BBB or Attorney General acts on the HUNDREDS of complaints posted, I will be pushing up daisies from a different direction! Good luck with your Weed "CRAP" Eater as well!

I agree -- I have a Weed Eater One that I have been having issues with and it ends up being a friction disc problem.  Everyone I talked to told me that the Weed Eater One is junk and not to put money into it.  Even under warranty, they have issues getting parts.  What a sad sad product to have on the market, I have had nothing but issues with this.

The saddest part about this is not only am I no longer going to trust the Weed Eater brands, but not even Husqvarna, PoulanPro, or the others that are affiliated with the Weed Eater brand!  Should bought a Snapper but thought I would give Weed Eater a chance -- my mistake.  I should have read all the horrible reviews before wasting my money on something that's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get fixed.

I give the Weed Eater One  5/5 THUMBS DOWN nonononono

      sad

I totally agree, the weedeaterone I had for 2seasons and then the brake cable went out. I had to redo mine with a strong stainless steel cable with wedges. The next thing that went out was my battery, ignition and fuses blown. Luckly I replaced the fuse and got it started by pulling on the rope. Now the gears are not engaging and can only cut grass going in reverse.

I guess I will have to put this one out for the trash to take it. The only good thing on it is the engine.

I'm ashame to say the this mower is supposed to have been totally manufactured in the USA.
