I recommend that you stop by the local authorized Husqvarna service center in that area to have the carburetor adjusted to meet EPA standards.
It is a violation of the E.P.A. for anyone to adjust the carburetor other than an authorized service center when the equipment is supplied with tamper resistant adjustments. For this reason the tools required to adjust tamper resistant carburetors are not sold to the public.
The carburetors are adjusted at the factory, differences in fuel and altitude make carburetor adjustments necessary, for this reason you are allowed one carburetor adjustment with in the first 30 days free of charge.
Isn't it a violation of consumer rights to sell poorly adjusted equipment and then hide behind EPA regulations as an excuse?
By the way your servicing dealers need to know about this one free carb adjustment. The usual response is "$40 just to look at it, non-refundable, this is our policy you can take it elsewhere if you want free warranty service."
