where are the felling marks on a 435 chain saw, and how are they used? never had the need for them. thank you, joel

Joel,
See attached picture, the felling mark is molded into the plastic cover, it is that long ridge of plastic straight thru the center of the picture.
When cutting your felling notch, line up the felling line in the direction you want the tree to fall, and likewise when you make the back cut.
