Thank you for the link. However, my biggest concern is that there is shaking beneath the engine, in what I'm assuming is the friction drive, regardless of the mower being engaged or not. So it sounds like I need to take it to get it checked out by a service professional? This is a little disappointing.
In a very small number of units, the friction drive wheel in the transmission may become delaminated. This will affect the drive system functionality (loss of speed or high vibration). To assist with this repair, a kit with the complete transmission, associated repair parts and full picture assembly instructions is available as part number 532436144.
