    I purchased a Poulan pro 461zx/966681801 and am very disappointed. The pulley on the deck sheared off. When trying to get one I've run into "we sold it but we don't do warranty. You will need to contact a dealer."
    please see page 6 in your owners manual under good service.
    I bought this at HOME DEPOT, the machine was not in stock; while at the store they did an online order for me with an estimated delivery date. no machine. 2 days later I called and the order had not been processed! It was then processed, and I received my machine April 21 2013. With 9.2hrs on it now the pulley has sheared itself off part#539113962 and 539107520.
    My yard is half mowed and the mower sits in the garage. Isn't there any way to send replacement parts to me? The machine serial #is 030413C001018.This is not my first Poulan pro purchase. I also own a hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, leaf blower and chainsaw, but had never had to deal with warranty before. I am now very unsatisfied. please try and rectify this asap

      Hi Dennis, thanks for contacting Answer Army.  You will need to let a service center repair this for you.  They will be able to get the parts and also file warranty.  You will find a repair center in your area by going to www.poulanpro.com   Again thanks for contacting Answer Army.

        This was not my experience. My P46ZX broke after 6 hours of use. My local Poulon Authorized Dealers Will NOT honor a Poulon Warranty unless you buy the mower from them. Stupidly, I did not do that. I tried to save a few bucks and buy it online.

        The Blade Spindle Housing broke after 6 hours use. That costed me $50 and the guy that I bought it from (an authorized Poulon Service Center) flatly informed me that they would not warranty products bought from an online retailer.

        Also, this mower does not have an available grass catcher!! Sadly, for me, even if I could get help from someone, (anyone) I still have no use for a mower that has no grass catcher.

        So, I am listing this on a local online garage sale in the hope I can get $200 for the Briggs and Stratton engine or I am going to buy a whole new cutting deck. either way, a crappy experience with Poulon and Husky
