    Question:
    I purchased a string trimmer model #122c at my Lowes store on 3/29/2011. Contained within the package was a note thanking me for the purchase, instructing me to register (which I did on line) and I was to receive free Husqvarna apparel. How is this to occur? No instructions to obtain them.

    It's taking up to 12 weeks for the gear to be received by customers who qualify for the 122C promotion.  Please be patient and let us know if you haven't received your gear after 12 weeks.

      Thank you for contacting Answer ARMY.

      As you were directed once you register your product the factory will send the item(s) for this program to the address and name used to register the product.

      There is nothing more for you to do once the equipment is registered.

      You bought/registered yours two weeks before me. Did you ever get any merchandise? I was also told they would send it (reference 110415-003034). Over two months ago, and still nothing. My previous inquiry is marked as "closed" and "resolved", which is untrue.

      It's been over 12 weeks and I have received nothing? I also had a give away notice in the box.. nothing? Confirmation Number: 120703-002782

      I also have a leak in or around the fuel tank.. but my S/N Is 2011 13 0036 .... does this recall also affect my model 122c?  http://www.huliq.com/10473/husqvarna-recalls-over-20000-trimmers-leaky-gas-tanks

      Still no free apparel either after registering online after 9 months! Confirmation # 120718-003704.  I guess Husqvarna got me on this one. Answer Army, who do I contact about this? I get no help whatsover from posting here online.

      Still nothing ..Guess we were all promised something that will never happen. Not even a sorry the offer expired or we ran out of supplies ...nothing. My line-trimmer is still leaking fuel also.

      @ Stephen Dutra - NO it's not taking up to 9 weeks. There are NO promotional items!! I have gone around and around and around and around speaking to no less than 15 people, have gotten transferred over and over and over and over again was directed to call several different numbers. NO ONE KNOWS WHERE OR HOW TO GET THE PROMITIONAL ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have given up after an hour call with Husqvarna and YoungAmerica on the phone together. YoungAmerica claims they show no promotion for the 122C even though I filled out a registration card for the 122c trimmer and registered online. Even after giving them my registration number, they still claim, "we don't show a promotion for this item" ARE YOU KIDDING ME, I FILLED OUT THE REGISTATION CARD THAT CAME WITH THE 122C TRIMMER STATING "THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE 122C TRIMMER AND TO SHOW OUR TOKEN OF APPRECIATION REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT ONLINE TO RECEIVE HUSQVARNA GEAR". I did my part Husqvarna, where are my items?!! I am thru with Husqvarna after this fiasco. I can't believe a global multi-billion dollar company can't get their act together and fulfill a promotion that THEY REACHED OUT TO ME BY THE CARD IN THE BOX AND REGISTERING ONLINE. I can honestly say it's the most frustrating thing I have ever tried to resolve. Again, I am the customer getting the complete run around by all parties involved with Husqvarna. It's really sad as it exposes just how unorganized internally Husqvarna really is.

      So no Stephen it's not taking up to 12 weeks as there are no items coming to promised customers. And if you beg to differ, then please send me mine, a customer who has been more than patient enough and been on hold on call after call after call explaining the same situation to a different person yet no one knows about the promotion yet a year later, yes a year later I still have not gear as promised to me by Husqvarna.

      So to everyone patiently waiting for their items, I'm afraid to say it's for a lost cause. You will not receive them. Not sure if they ran out or what but you will not receive them as promised even though you fulfilled your end of the agreement.

      So please Husky, how you do you not show a promtion for the 122C when BOOM - right there on your website you show it??
