    Question:
How do I remove the vacuum tube once its been installed on a 125BVx blower to return to normal operation? The the tube has 4 snap fit tabs, and once these are engaged I cant figure out how to rotate to the unlock position and remove the tube.

    Hi Mark

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

The blower tube (K) has a pegged slot

mounting system to the unit. To install or

remove the blower tube (or collection bag

tube for the 125BVX--SERIES), the tube

clamp bolt must be removed. Align slot in

the blower air outlet with the raised rib on

the tube and insert tube until the holes in

the tube and housing align. Re--insert the

    tube clamp bolt and tighten.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.

Good answer for the blower tube, but the question was about the *** vacuum tube.  I can't get mine off either.  What is the trick to this.  Ive tried everything and am about to resort to a hacksaw, or if I had one, a grenade.

Greg P. from Husqvarna T.S.T. gave an answer which does not address the question in any way. The answer has to do with the blower tube or the vacuum bag attachments. The question has to do with the large vacuum tube which attaches to the side of the motor unit.

I have the same question. Once this large tube is in place how does one remove it?

Same problem here.  In order to rotate the tube to the unlocked position, the tabs would need to be shaped like a "ramp".  They are however square in shape and I can see no way to force the tabs back out of the slots.

I did think of one way though - you will need 6 men - one to hold the motor unit, 4 with flat screwdrivers one to pry at each slot, and one to twist the tube.

The tabs are a deception if you forget how you attached the vacuum tube.

You simply twist the tube counter clockwise to unlock it .

Watched the video. You are correct, I was deceived by the way the 'tabs' appear to pop through those 'slots'. The tabs are actually part of the blower tube. Thanks

I struggled with this for half an hour myself, which is how I found this forum.  It turns out that you don't need to get the tube off of the tabs at all; they come off as a unit with the tube!

I'm glad someone was paying attention. Yes, it is about the large vac tube, that is so unuser freindly, at least someone got theirs on, which I have failed to do., only because I lack the five people to hold the motor, and the other 5 people with a giant pair of vise grips to rotate the tube into the lock position. Michael Jordan, you really made me laugh, the truth can be painfully funny.

I recently purchased one and I have the same problem of removing the VACUUM tube. I see this question was raised back in 2014 but never answered.  HOW THE HECK DO YOU REMOVE THE VACUUM TUBE!.?!?

One looks pretty foolish trying to use the small blower tube with the big VACUUM tube attached as well.

Dave Hoffman correct, the tabs turn with the tube.  You have to get a nice grip on the tube and turn hard.

The answer at the top is not the best answer.  See Michael Jordan's reply for the right answer.  It is a design flaw in the vacuum in that it shows the 4 snap fit tabs that has absolutely nothing to do with removing the tubes.  I was extremely impressed with the vacuum but frustrated with wasting 45 minutes trying to figure out how to get the vacuum tub off.  Thanks
