    Question:
I have a 2006 Husqvarna 350 with a fuel leak. I removed the tank and replaced the fuel lines. The leak is coming from the fuel vent. 1. How is this fixed?
    2. Does the long fuel line from the primer bulb line connect to the fuel vent? If not where does it connect to?

Unable to find fuel line diagram on google. Thanks.

      Russ,

Here is a link to "Husqvarna's IPL drawings": /images/ddoc/HUSI/HUSI2006_AAaa/HUSI2006_AAaa__5449075-01.pdf

Refering to the IPL drawings for a 2006, model 350 look at references "K' and "L" for the fuel drawings.

No, the fuel line does not connect to the vent. The return from the primer bulb needs to return the fuel to the tank. There should be a hole in the top of the fuel tank assembly where the line goes back into the tank, the return line does not have to extend very far into the tank.

The fuel vent (part # 537 35 95 01) reference "L" should be just as shown in drawing, It pushes into the tank assembly as shown and is left open to the atmosphere.

      I hope this helps.

        Thanks Karla!

I found where to attach the primer line bulb to the tank. There is a nipple on top of the gas tank that this line slides over/connects to. The saw runs great now and the leak is gone because it was actually coming from this nipple that had no primer fuel line attached.

The fuel vent acts as a check valve that lets air in but does not allow fuel out, and must be left open to the air like Karla stated.

The fuel vent  does have a nipple that looks like the perfect place to attach a primer fuel line. Don't do it. Put the line on the Orange nipple that is the correct return to the tank. As I understand on some saws there is another hole to insert the line into the tank 2-3".

I called a few shops and they were mostly unsure. Karla had it right from the beginning. I appreciate the help.

        Thanks,

        Russ

Congratulations on getting it running, and I'm glad I could help.

Also, Thanks for the info on the orange fitting at the top of the tank, I will keep that one in mind.

If you need any help in the future, just give me a shout.
