Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

These are just my personal opinions and what normally see coming through my shop.

All three of the IPLs for the 800AWD shows the Honda GCV190LA S3L engine that they use the BPR5ES spark plug or its equal.

The owner's manual for mower shows that regular unleaded fuel (87 octane) recommended.  I do like to see fuel filter of some kind on all engines but two is a little overkill. The reason like a filter here is that trash can be introduced into the fuel tank and then it clogs the carburetor later. The use of non-ethanol fuel is not required and it is usually an operator preference on fuel type; although, most of these engine do require the ethanol content to be 10% or less. This is because the ethanol does damage the fuel system rubber parts which not design to handle anything over 10% ethanol.

High capacity air filter should be used in very dusty environments with a pre-filter. I see no need of a pre-filter after the main filter.

The oil is debatable. It is nice to have the extra protection in extreme conditions but most times SAE 30 used in summer is all that is needed but don't use regular 5w-30 in the summer as operating temperature exceeds its upper temperature limits of 80 degrees if I remember correctly.
