    Problem:
The chainsaw will not start and smells strongly like fuel.
    Cause:
The chainsaw is flooded. The customer is not following the proper starting procedure as outlined in the operators manual and there is now excessive fuel in the engine.
    Steps:

    Starting a Flooded Engine:

    • Step 1
Move the choke to the open position and hold the throttle in the open (full throttle), Then repeat Step 5 until engine runs, let the unit run at full throttle for about 5 seconds (to warm up and burn off excess fuel).
    • Step 2
If the engine dies move the choke to the open position and hold the throttle in the open (full throttle), Then repeat Step 5 until engine runs, let the unit run at full throttle for about 5 seconds (to warm up and burn off excess fuel). CATION Do not pull the starter cord out all the way and do not let go of the starter handle when starter cord is pulled out as this can damage the unit.

Husqvarna sends saws out into the market with compression relief valves that stay open and will not close.  Husqvarna does this, and has the audacity to say we don't know how to start a saw? Husqvarna saws cannot start with the CRV stuck open.

put this on the most common problems list so that you might be helpful to the unweary consumer that does not understand that a large corporation like Husqvarna will continue to use a supplier that ships bad CRV's because the management at said corporation is barely functionally retarded.
