    Question:
When did Husqvarna start making the T435 in China, I just ordered one and sent it back to the dealer because it was Made in China. I am very disappointed in Husqvarna asking premium price for Made in China chainsaw

how do you know it was made in china?  I am curious about this because I just bought a new 576xpg which was built in Sweden according to the serial # base plate...

Got it in from a well known dealer in Calf.  on the box Made in China , I called Husqvarna and they also confirmed with me the T435 is being made in China.  Way to go Husqvarna becoming like the rest of the county.  I also called Mowers 4 less in NC. and their T435 is also made in China.  I sent mine back and just bought a Jonsered Cs2139t.  Made in Sweden, every part.

Husqvarna owns jonsey brand also. were you aware of that?

Yes I know Husqvarna owns Jonsered.  I have a 460 Rancher and love it.  I am just not going to pay the premium price Husqvarna is asking for  Made in China saw.  That is why I went with the Jonsered CS2139t, made in Sweden.

so this new Husqvarna factory in china is tooled for how many models?  they obviously didn't build in china to just make the 435top.

      right?  I wonder...

It makes you wonder doesn't it.  I think this is a bad move on Husqvarna.  It will hurt there sells.  The thing is Husqvarna will not display on their website made in China, so you will not know until you get the unit home if you order online.  Make sure you ask dealer to personally check box and see where it is made is my recommendation.  I love the Husky line, but no Made in China saw will I be using.

      Shannon, and Robert,

Here is an interresting article put out about Husqvarna counterfeits: /images/ca/en/forest/news-listing/avoid-the-hazards-of-counterfeit-forestry-tools/

Anyhow, If your saying that Husqvarna confirmed that the T435 is made in china, that really surprizes me. By the way I have two Model T435's, one I bought brand new in 2012, and the other one was a re-build that I picked up for spare parts, but there was really nothing wrong with it. I wonder if the Name tag inside the chainsaw says "made in china" or "made in Sweden", I may have to look at the name tags on my chainsaws today. I really like my T435's and use them all the time for trimming, very aggressive little 35 cc engine and only 7 lbs too.

The first rep. I talked with said they did not know, I told them then you had better find someone who does.  They said hold on, came back to the phone and confirmed my fears, Made in China. This unit is a 2014 model. yours may be made somewheres else, but this new 2014 model is made in China, I held one at a dealer and loved the feel and that is why I ordered one, but I would have never done that if I knew it was made in China, maybe yours is not. The Husqvarna was really only a copy of the Redmax gz3500t, and know we have found out the every model of this saw, husky, redmax and zenoah are all made in China at the same factory, maybe yours is not China, the T435 was never made in Sweden, it was made at the  Japan. factory.

Thanks for the post, the authorized dealer I bought it from was Baileys outdoor, also called Mowers 4 less, which is an authorized dealer theirs also Made in China, I am afraid this T435 is just going to be the beginning of Made in China.  Did research and found  online that Husqvarna is starting to outsource lower in saws to be made in China and to Nashville Arkansas factory.

      Shannon and Robert,

Yes, you are correct ! I found the following link, that states their production for certain products is in China (see Link).

Shannon, I almost ordered a 395xp from mowers4less 2 months ago, but I was directed to read about it being a shell company from a notorious Indonesian criminal. I think many people have been duped and never got their money back.  I am speaking off the cuff, but I am almost certain it was mowers4less.  I very seriously doubt baileyson-line would have any association with that Ponzi club.

I intend to re-re-search once again. if you faired well, I think you were very lucky.  because most have not...

if memory serves, it is a slick operation that attempts to fool people into thinking that it is a north American company in Kansas or some other obscure great plains location... I will try to find it again...

Mowers 4 less is out of North Carolina.  That is the webstore for the Husky dealer in NC.  Read the attached post that Karla sent me and you.  In China Husqvarna is making trimmers and chainsaws. If  you ever order a chainsaw online. make sure they visually look at box and see where it is made, also ask them to give you the seriel number and call Husqvarna and they can run it and tell you where it is  made.  I think Husqvarna tried to slip the T435 under radar.  It cost me $30 to ship the saw back to Baileys, because I was honest and told them the only reason I did not want it is because Made in China, I asked rep. if  I had lied and said something was wrong with it would they have paid shipping back and she said yes.  Go figure being honest cost you.

baileys is a stand-uppish company although. I do a lot of business thru that bunch.  but to the point, I was wrong.

mower-sale.com is the crook that scams people.  just evaluate his price on everything.  that is how he lures people in.  once he has your money, tough luck...  so I have no experience with mowers4less...

oh, sorry but I never asked if "made in china" was on the saw anywhere?  did the serial # base plate still read "Husqvarna, Huskvarna Sweden"?  I have repaired several Husqvarna saws but I have never personally seen "made in china".  so I am really curious.

I would think a company would be legally required to state where that product was made...
