    Question:
I purchased an RTE113C trimmer on May 2, 2011. Since it was raining, I was unable to use it until today, May 4, 2011. After approximately one hour of use I noticed something lying on the lawn and I picked up a piece of black plastic. At this point I examined my trimmer and discovered that one of the fan blades below the string spool has broken off. Is this covered under warranty? Will I damage the trimmer by using it in this condition?

Thank you for contacting Answer ARMY.

The HUB fin has broken, this would require a replacement trimmer, I would encourage that you return the unit in question to either the place of purchase or a local authorized service center.

You can find your local Weed Eater dealers for sales and service as well as manuals and a place to order
parts using the link provided http://www.weedeater.com choose the appropriate link at the bottom of the
    page.

Service Locator  (Canadian customers use postal code no spacing)
    Contact Us
    Download Manuals (Operator's and IPL's)
Order Parts (This is a third party company not Weed Eater)  or can contact local dealer.

Your local dealer is your best and fastest source of information.
