    Question:
I have a 1996 HSK70 with a 7hp tecumseh engine. Runs great for 10-15 minutes then dies. What could be causing this?

When the engine dies check for spark at the spark pkug, It sounds like the ignition coil's electronics are failing due to heat.

Also make sure the air is circulating under the engine shrould (flywheel cover), Mice like to build nests under these around here causing various problems like overheats and lockups.

Thanks Eugene. I'll give this a shot and let you know how it works out. I live just outside of Boston and we're getting hammered with snow this year. I've already used the snow blower over a dozen times this year. It hasn't sat long enough for a small critter to make a home in it so I'll try the spark plug/coil suggestion. Thanks again! Jay
