How much engine oil does this Briggs and Stratton Engine hold on the HU625WT and what is the recommended fill amount from the Factory?
Pouring oil and constantly checking the dip stick is not a proper procedure or proper means to change the engine oil.

Since we did not manufacture the engine we have to use engine manufacturer recommendations.
The problem is if there is oil left in the engine and you add a specific amount it may have too much oil. That is why the recommendation of adding and then checking oil levels.

That is what I was afraid of, adding oil and constantly measuring to determine if the right amount of oil is in the engine is too common this day and time. Engine Manufacturers should make their engines with better tolerances and know exactly how much oil their engine should hold and operate with.
