I have a walk behind with rear wheel drive, brand new.
The rear wheels won't disengage to pull it backwards.
Even pushing forward for the last several feet of cutting.
I can sometimes get it to release if I rock it back and forth
several times but then they engage again soon afterwards.
I hate this mower for this.

Answer
I finally figured out how to solve this problem, I took the mower back and bought a Torro.
Wow, what a difference, it does so much better.
I'll never buy anything by husqvarna again.
