    Question:
I just purchased a 445 and have run about five tanks of gas in it. So far the saw runs well and I have not made a full throttle run through a tree per Husky's direction, until about 10 hours are on the saw. I also have a 455 and it required some carb adjustment during/after the break-in period. Is it common for the 445's to do the same? Also does this saw have a double or single ring piston?

    Thank you for contacting AnswerARMY.

It is common for a product to require periodic carburetor adjustments and this can be needed with in the first few hours or after the equipment is broken in.

Fuel quality can also play a part in needing of carb adjustment.

The 445 uses a single ring.
