Question:
I have a Model # ST227P product # 961930097 27" Snow Thrower and want to change the engine oil now that the season is over.
Looking through the manuals that came with the machine I see that the different engines have different capacities.
My engine model # according to the stamp on the side of the engine is PW2HK18750 OR 75H.
No where in the user manuals does it cross reference these numbers over to CC size so I can determine the oil capacity of the engine.
My question is what CC engine is this and why doesn't the owner's manual have this useful information?

According to the owners manual for the 961930097-01 your engine capacity is 1 US Quart. I don't your going to be snow blowing much above 32F so I would use the SAE 5w30.
Specs from the owners manual.
Oil Type SAE 30 (above 50°F)
(API SG–SL): SAE 5W-30 or 10W-30 (32° to 50°F)
SAE 5W-30 (below 32°F)
Oil Capacity: 32 Ounces (0,9 Liters)

I do see in the 961930097-01 downloaded owner's manual the data you have posted.
My model # is 961930097-02, probably the same beast, and no owners manual seems to be posted on their website.
The manual I had been searching through was the Quick Reference Guide that was supplied with the machine. Not so quick if you spend an hour looking for basic information, IMO.
Any idea what the CC or Hp of this engine is?
I'll probably install the 5W-30 Synthetic as it has an much wider range of operating temperature.

Okay had spare time while waiting for an oil drain to complete this morning to research the LCT PW2HK18750. It appears to be a 254CC engine so the owners indicates that it has a capacity of 20 oz (.591 liter)
