    Question:
New RZ4623- went to change the oil for the first time and
discovered the fitting on the end of the extension hose(oil)
rotates with the cap when you try to remove it. It is clamped
down to the same platform the motor is mounted to and extends
over where left side pull is to disengage that transmission.
I cannot get a wrench on the fitting without taking the clamp
off. The clamp uses a threaded hole, I believe, and probably
needs a lock washer when put back. Do you have a fix for this? It might be the worst design I have ever seen. The dude who designed it looked no further than the end of his nose.

    Thank You- Brad Starling

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

There is nothing wrong, to remove the cap it requires two wrenches. It is best to put both wrenches in one hand to brake it loose trying to use two hands will typically cause the wrenches to pivot oddly. If you have difficulty pleaae consult your local authorized service center for guidance on how to change the oil.

You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales and service and parts as well as manuals using the link.

Scott, are you saying that Husqvarna intended that it take TWO (2) wrenches to remove this cap.  TWO wrenches to change the oil.

      Give me a break.

The "chainsaw" Husqvarna people would have never premitted this design, and that reputation is why I bought this machine.

If you really want to help, get this message to the people who can do something about it rather than the "see your dealer" stuff.

      Lame Answer!
