    Question:
I bought a XT721FE lawn mower about a month ago. I expected it to be a variable speed, but it's not. It is too fast for me. I see in the picture there is a blue handle that must for the variable speed but mine does not have that.
What can we do? Can I get an upgrade? Trade it in?

Also it doesn't seem to cut all the blades of grass. I think it is because it is too fast. I'm not happy about that. It has always been like that even from the first cutting, so it is not a damaged blade.
    Thanks

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

Pleae refer to the "Operation" section of the operators manual for guidance on adjusting the ground speed.

If the unit is not mowing it is important to follow this guideline.

When discharging do not cut off more than 1.5 inches of grass during a pass.

When collecting and or mulching do not cut more than 1 inch of grass during a pass.

Aso ground speed can affect this as well, adjusting the ground speed can also help.

Thanks for the quick response. The only adjustment I see is the engine speed that a service center needs to do. I suppose there is a corralation between engine speed and the speed at which the wheels move. But that still seems to be a single speed and it is suppose to be a variable speed.
