    Just today Im mowing my lawn for the 6th time since my purchase. The brake, I pushed down on and it stayed and I can't get it to release all the way, si when you put it in gear, it takes off and I can't get enough brake to stop.

    Do not use the mower till you can get an authorized WeedEATER service center to repair the brakes.
