    Increase speed of self-propelled Mower?escalated2

    Question:
    Increase speed of self-propelled Mower?
    Details:

I recently purchased a new Husquavarna 22" AWD mower with the Honda 190cc engine.  I have a large yard (1/2 acre) that takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to mow with my old push mower depending on how thick the grass is.  Upon trying my new Husquavarna out for the first time I was pretty disappointed to find that the top speed is slower than I used to push my old mower!  Is there anything that can be done to make the mower go faster?  I was really looking forward to the time savings and it appears that it will be spending MORE time mowing with my fancy new mower!

    Question:
HELP - this should be simple. I have the Husqvarna LC 221A - I see where the oil probably goes in (it has a yellow plug with an oil can icon on it) - but have no clue how to get that off, if it includes the dipstick, or what? The manual and online videos clearly show a different model with an easy to remove oil cap. This yellow plug is SOLID in there and I hesitate to try to pry it off. Does anyone know if that yellow plug is the oil cap and how to get it off?

Who do I contact regarding the status of a $50 Husqvarna...Answeredescalated3

    Question:
Who do I contact regarding the status of a $50 Husqvarna Visa Prepaid Card Powered by Honda rebate for a 7021P mower?
    Details:

I purchased the mower on July 04, 2011. I mailed the forms for a Visa card rebate for the push mower 7021P with a honda engine to Husquvarna Walk Mower $50 Husqvarna Visa Prepaid Card, Dept. 420-26, PO Box 751367, El Paso, TX 88575-1367 on July 15, 2011.  The paperwork indicated that it may take 6-8 weeks for processing, but I have not heard anything or received anything. And now it's mid October.  There is no phone number or web site that are printed on the rebate form for me to track the rebate status. Very poor design of rebate form/practice by the way unless it's the company's intention that customer just forgets about it. This is the first Husquvarna tool we purchased for the house and the $50 did make a difference when the purchasing decision was made.  Is there anyone to contact regarding this? Any information is appreciated.

    Question:
I'm getting ready to purchase a HU775L mower.

I have one question though. I just read a review on amazon and it talked about the reviewed Husqvarna mower would now accept normal blades required certain "Keyed" blades.

Does the HU775L use these keyed blades or will any generic mower blade work?

General Product Question posted May 31, 2013 by Gary Broyles
    Question:
I recently purchased the Husqvarna HU800AWD (the new all wheel drive walk-behind mower) and I am generally pleased with the mower's performance; however, I have one major issue regarding it's mulching capabilty. When mulching, grass builds up in the mower and it drops clumps of grass randomly in the yard. Looking at the design, it appears to be caused by an inadequate mulching plug that is built into the rear bagger door. The mulcing plug is much too small and allows grass to build up around the bagger door, which drops in the yeard periodically. It is really annoying, to the point that I can't mulch with this mower and I am forced to bag the grass. At first I thought it was because the grass was too tall, but it happens no matter the grass height everytime I mulch. My previous mowers (both Sears Craftsman) mulched much better and I beleive it was because of the design which had a much larger mulching plug that was a separate part. The mulching plug on the Sears mowers made the deck one complete circle and didn't allow the grass to build up like the Husqvarna. I have read several complaints about this mulching issue on the Husqvarna at various sites, including consumer reports. Surely, Husqvarna has come up with a solution to this problem, like an aftermarket mulching plug attachment or something similar. Please advise if you guys have something to fix this issue as I am contemplating returning this mower because it is so annoying to mulch with.

    Question:
just bought a 6021P mower yesterday. can't get it started. may have flooded the mower when tilting to get to blade area. but, does it have a fuel on/off valve or some manual choke switch or a primer button that I should use to help get it started. just think that I'm not doing something I should.
    thanks. Art Allen

    Question:
I recently purhcased a HU800HW, form Lowes on line. There were two features I wanted, Brake Blade Clutch & 11" rear wheels. I was told this model had both, but it does not have the Brake Blade Clutch which is one of the reasons i bought the Husqvarna over a Snapper. Do you have a model with both these features as i am taking mine back to Lowes?

    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 6021P purchased last July, 2011. It will not crank. Do I Have to pay out of pocket to get this new mower started or will it be covered under warranty?
    Details:
I bought a Husqvarna 6021P walk-behind last July 6th, from Sears. One pull cranked out of the box. Model# 917.384513, SN#; 040611M006312. Now, 6 months later, it won't crank for anything. It has gas, oil, and the filter has been cleaned. I don't feel I should have to spend more money with a lawn repair service on this new mower. This model has a Kohler engine XT-6, 149cc. Spec# PH-XT149-o311, SN; 4100427678
    Please advise, very displeased consumer......

General Product Question posted May 8, 2011 by James Cullen
    Question:
I just purchased an HU700L self propelled mower. The speed of the self propelled rear wheel drive has dropped by more than half. This occured the first time I used the mower. I had only made approximately five passes on my lawn when this happened. Is this normal? I had to adjust the turnbuckle to get more speed and yet it never returned to it's initial speed. Is this an indication that I have a bad mower? If so I'll take it back to Lowes for a replacement. Other than that I like the mower.
