Warranty Question posted June 23, 2013 by Jeff Sidebotham
    Question:
Hi I purchased an HU775HW mower at Lowes. It is supposed to have a 3 year warranty according to the Lowe's website and in fact there's a sticke on the mower that shows a 3 year warranty.
When I registered the mower I got an email that shows a two year warranty. I called support and was told it had been corrected but then I got another email showing a two year warranty. How do I get the records corrected to show the 3 year warranty?

    Question:
I purchased a mower Hyper Tough 20" Gas-Powered Side Discharge Lawn Mower from Walmart on June 9, 2017. It has been trouble since day one but my husband has tried to make it work. It has starting problems and now it won't start at all. He has back problems and has had to really work hard to get it started each time. It says it has a 1 year warranty and we would like to get it repaired or replaced.

    Question:
Husqvarna 38045 Kohler Courage XT7 mower

I purchased a Husqvarna 38045 Kohler Courage XT7 mower from Sears on March 20th 2012.(917380450 Husqvarna Walk-behind lawn mower)I tried to register the mower and it's unlisted..Why ? Also I have used it 5 times and the 2nd time used the Clipping deflector PART NUMBER: 419942X428,broke off by bumping a small hedge, very cheaply made part as it just snapped right off,NOW the 5th time using this mower I went engage the control cable
(part number:431649)and the actual cable snapped, dissengaged completely from the under side of mower making the mower not work when engaging the transmission control. I didn't buy the extended warranty from Sears because I saw the commercials and thought this was one of the best mowers out there. Very disappointed at this point,Sears says I have to take it to their Sears store on Forsyth Rd and from there will I be responsable for paying for this ? Or is it covered by Husqvarna ? Like I said it has only been used 5 times..Well the 5th time didn't mow due to this new issue. Please help me in this as I can not afford to pay for this myself..Is it gonna be covered by the Husqvarna Warranty ?

Warranty Question posted August 30, 2013 by Bruce Schoch
    Question:
I bought an HU775BBC from Lowes in June and was just able to put it into use in August. On my third mowing, I noticed the back seam on the grass catcher had separated. I was told that this was normal wear and tear and I would have to replace the bag at my expense. This seems outrageous to me--I am already thinking of getting rid of the mower and going back to Toro.
    Details:

I hosed the bag out after each use and hung it up to dry before putting it away--per the manual.

Warranty Question posted April 16, 2013 by Jonathan Turner
    Question:
Purchased HU700F and there is a sticker on the mower deck that says "3 year warranty". Seller said that motor (Honda) had a 2 year warranty and everything else has a 3 year warranty. My question is: today I registered the mower and the reply email from Husqvarna stated "2 year warranty". Why not a 3 year as shown on the product?

Warranty Question posted August 2, 2011 by martin freeman
    Question:
I purchased a 21 inch push mower from Amazon

When it arrived, there was no apparent damage to the carton

The lawn mower would not start - the electric start would not turn the engine over and pulling the cord was not possible

I took it to one of your authorized repair centers (35 mile drive) in Cedar Lake (R&S) - they told me that the deck was damaged and are charging me $32 for the labor - they claim that the item was dropped during shipping.

All I want is my $32 back - if this item was dropped, it was probably dropped at your factory - If you want to reimburse me and go after the cartage company, that is fine with me

Warranty Question posted November 14, 2011 by James Robinson
    Question:
I just bought a HU700L walk behind mower 6 months ago. As a routine I check oil prior to use (only 10 hours so far) and run it dry with the fuel valve off following use. I went to use it and oil/gas was on the deck, crank case was full of oil/gas mix and the valve was still off. Local dealer said drain it refill and run it, just a fluke, float probably had debris in it.

Is this for real, how do I keep this incident on record so I have warranty still for future failure? If I drain and refill and then have bigger failure am I not going to be at fault for improper care and not be covered under warranty?

    Thank you,

    james

Warranty Question posted September 18, 2012 by Louis Werder
    Question:
I purchased a HU700F walk behind lawnmower in April and the side discharge chute (discharge deflector, part #: 5324394-30) broke in August. I only use the side discharge chute and it is poorly made, falls off all the time, and now has broken. Part of the problem is that it is only held in place by the open mulcher door instead of being permanently affixed to the mower. Is this covered under warranty? How do I obtain a replacement? Is there a way to permanently affix the side discharge deflector or is there a reinforced model? I purchased the mower at Lowes and if I have to go to a dealer, will I be treated the same as if I purchased the product there??? I would rather just get a replacement part and do it myself; is this possible?

    Question:
    Hi,
I recently bought the HU700L and the belt drive to the mower is slipping. I brought it to the dealer and they told me that is normal. They said they put another mower together and it does the same thing. I'm concerned as I've invested in a new mower and six weeks later I've been to the dealer twice.
