How do you adjust the forward/reverse linkage?- Service & Maintenance Question posted June 20, 2010 by FreddieI purchased a Husqvarna zero turn 54 inch cut Model RZ5424 / 965881301. I am very satisfied with the performance except after 6.8 hours of operation the blades are completely worn out. Out of the 3 blades only one still has the fan attached, the rest are missing. The deck is set at the mid range and the cutting height is about the same as I normally cut. Having to replace the blades after only 6.8 hours of service is unsatisfactory! I am operating the mower with the throttle wide open as directed by the manual so I suspect the blades are turning at a high rate of speed. The deck is set in the mid range as far as height. What am I doing wrong as I am sure the service life of the blades is much more than 6 hours? Is there a heavy duty blade that I should use?
- Service & Maintenance Question posted August 18, 2011 by Louie ParadisoI bought an RZ4623 Zero Turn Mower. I changed the oil today and got oil everywhere. This is a VERY poor design. How do you change the oil on this machine without getting it everywhere? Is there a video showing the oil change process? I bought this mower used (4.2 hrs) from Lowe's, and it did not come with the manual, quick disconnect for cleaning the deck, or anything to change the oil with. I've tried to look up the accessories on the Husqvarna site, but none of this shows. Any suggestions you have would be great.
- Service & Maintenance Question posted September 13, 2010 by steve crafti just bought a rz5424 zero turn rider the problems is the muffler is burning my lawn after stopping the mower for only 5-10 seconds I have many brown spots on my lawn the problem is with the bottom plate around the muffler is not deflecting the heat from the muffler away from the grass on one side of the muffler the spot is bigger because the exhaust outlet is on one side. the engine fan is pushing the hot air down on the grass. what can be done? i have searched in the internet and others have this problem too. this photo is from 10 seconds of the stopped mower. this brown spot will appear 2-4 days later.

MY FAULT - I got off the machine before shutting down properly with the blades engaged, and the safety system shut the machine off. When I re-started the blades would not engage for mowing, Please help!

- Service & Maintenance Question posted April 27, 2015 by ken welpHydraulic pump-motor fluid: I have a Husqvarna LSZ4622 mower. The dealer that I purchased the mower from does not know what fluid type should be added to the hydraulic system of this mower. There is no fluid visible in the reservoir. One of the 2 pump units is collecting dust, while the other is clean. This leads me to believe that the dirty unit is leaking a little fluid. I would like to add fluid to bring the level back to where it was when the mower was new, to make sure the pumps do not run dry. What fluid type should I add?

Trying to replace this, bought correct belt, have it routed correctly, but will not fit...almost 3 inches from the pulley. Purchased another one just in case it was packaged incorrectly, still way off. Watched video on you tube...everything in place just like him yet he puts it on with ease. What is wrong???
Someone at Lowe's suggested going to a 60" belt when I have a 54". Haven't tried that because frankly I feel that this should work without me having to finagle.

#RZ3016. I added the mulching kit. I like the machine very much
but there seems to be one engineering flaw where as when the side discharge
is blocked off by the mulching kit the grass all shoots straight up and
covers your feet and completely covers the deck and even works it's way
into the battery compartment. There is grass every where because of the
five large holes that are circling the deck. I do not see any other brands
of lawn mowers with large holes in any of there decks so I'm thinking this
to be either a engineering flaw or there might be more parts to the
mulching kit beside the blade and the side discharge blocker. The grass
build up is really a big problem and the only problem I have and if you
could help me with it I would really appreciate your help. I would even be
willing to purchase a deck that would be made with out the large holes if I
could. I purchased my mower from Sell's Equipment at 19185 West Road, Woodhaven, Mi. 48183. That's all I have for now and thanks. - Service & Maintenance Question posted April 8, 2015 by Anthony SantucciRZ46i with SmartSwitch- when we go thru the code ignition light goes blue, when we try to start it light turn to flashing red. No other indicator lights flash, just ignition.
