Does the Husqvarna CRT900 allow for a furrower attachment?...Answeredescalated2100%
General Product Question posted September 22, 2011 by clove
    Question:
Does the Husqvarna CRT900 allow for a furrower attachment? If so, what the the part number. I'm looking for a rear tine tiller with a furrower/rower attachment. I can't seem to find any info about attachments for rear tine tillers. If not the Husqvarna CRT900 then any models or brands would be very helpful. Model numbers and furrower part numbers. Thanks.

    Question:
I would like to purchase a tiller. While researching for a tiller, I noticed that the specifications posted online at Lowes states that the FT900 (B&S) has an assembled weight of 230 lbs, whereas the specifications posted at Husqvarna's website states that it weighs 100 lbs. What is the assembled weight of the FT900 tiller?

    Thank you,

    Ronnie

    Question:
I bought a near-new DRT900H tiller from Lowes. The tiller had only been used once by a customer who brought it back because he said "it was under powered." The first time I used it , it did fine for the most part but on one occasion I shifted it into forward with counter rotating tines and the tiller did not move and after a few seconds smoke came out of the drive belt/pulley area. I stopped the engine immediately and tilted the tiller up to inspect the tines--there was no object to obstruct the tines. What is causing that smoke and is the engine damaged? It worked fine at other times when I was in forward gear with counter rotating tines. How do I prevent that from occurring and do I need to worry that the previous owner damaged it?

    Question:
Recently purchased two drt900 tillers. Both engines run much slower than I anticipated or am used to in previous tillers, even at full speed. Is this how they are supposed to operate?

    Question:
Very disappointed that I picked up a new tiller at Sears on October 14, 2011 and the hardware package was not included in the sealed back with the owner's manual. Called Sears on October 15th to order package. Package isn't listed as an item. Had to go through the parts list with rep on the phone for half and hour to be sure we had all the parts to order. It is now November 10th and I've only received 4 of the 5 sets of parts I need to be able to use the tiller. Keep getting the run around from Sears. Cannot contact Husqvarna because they refer you back to the dealer. Not happy and if I do not get the parts shortly, will return the tiller and get another brand. Can anyone suggest where else I can pick up the two bolts I'm missing for the handle????

    Question:
Considering a 17" rear tine tiller...specifically DRT900E. Does this model have BOTH a manual "pull cord" start as well as the electric start?

Also, does this model have the front bumper?

    Thank you

General Product Question posted August 16, 2011 by Sean Brown
    Question:
Hello- I have a specific product improvement request and wonder if anyone else has suggested it? I am an Electrical Contractor and frequently do lighting projects on golf courses. The trouble is, the Greenskeepers frown up anyone making noise while working around golfers, makes perfect sense to me too.

Husqvarna now makes the TB1000 battery powered tiller, my idea is a simple modification or an accessory kit. What I need to able to do is install direct-burial cable to a maximum depth of 6", there are numerous manufacturers of mini cable and wire trenchers and most if not all are based on tillers, yet again these are gas powered machines which will have Greensheepers frowning.

Since the TB1000 has a removeable battery running out of power won't be an issue since charged spares can be carried. And since the TB1000 is quiet I won't be feeling the frowning eyes of Greenskeepers upon me. So, what does the Army have to say about my suggestion? Realize this is something a lot of contractors would be interested in, since not disturbing customers and clients while working productively is one of the keys to success.

    Regards,

    SMB
