    2 part question: 1) Why isn't there a snow...Answeredescalated2
Service & Maintenance Question posted February 21, 2012 by Charles Fisher
    Question:
    2 part question:

    1) Why isn't there a snow thrower category?
    2) Why won't my brand new snow thrower start?
    Details:

There isn't a category for Snow Throwers, which is annoying. Anyway. I purchased a 24" 6.5hp snow thrower (model PR624ES)from Menards on December 26th, 2011. I've only been able to get it started twice. It won't start with either the electric starter or the manual one. I've tried every variation of number of primes, how open I have the choke, etc. Nothing works. Checked and rechecked to make sure key was inserted correctly, switch was flipped to "run," etc. Very very frustrated with this as I just spent 2 hrs shoveling 8 inches of snow after spending the previous 3 hours trying to get the thing to start.

The two times I had it started (the day I got it) and once in late December, it was not easy to get going. Now the starter will fire, but the engine won't start.

I purchased this snow thrower based on good reviews of it online, and the price, but it seems like I wasted my money on it.

After two years of light duty the pull start on my BVM200VS...escalated
Parts Question posted April 7, 2014 by jim martin
    Question:
After two years of light duty the pull start on my BVM200VS stopped retracting. I called your outsourced parts line and they suggested a new starter pulley. I asked if it include a spring they said yes they thought so... It didn't include the spring.

I'd like to have the spring, but feel I shouldn't have to pay for shipping again...Please advise

    Thanks

at the end of last season I purchased a blower and chain saw...escalated3
Service & Maintenance Question posted March 24, 2011 by brian blake
    Question:
at the end of last season I purchased a blower and chain saw (both poulan). The blower was used about five times before winter and then stored in a basement. Several weeks ago, I got it out, filled with new gas and changed the spark plug to one that last the life of the equipment. it wont start. I checked the plug and cleaned the carb. The local service center says there may be a carb issue. Is this common on a new product? will this be necassary each season? I like poulan products and their price. I do not want to be consumed in maintenance each season. any suggestions?

Auger does not lock when both traction drive and auger...escalated
Service & Maintenance Question posted February 18, 2014 by John McHale
    Question:
Auger does not lock when both traction drive and auger control levers are engaged. Snow thrower PR827Es. The manual says they should lock so you can control the chute with your right hand so as not to interrupt the snow thowing process. This unit is 3 years old with only 5 hours use. Thanks for any help.

Service & Maintenance Question posted December 1, 2012 by e kennedy
    Question:
bought a Poulan Pro PPB2000LE leaf blower about 5 years ago. stopped working yesterday - tried cleaning carb, put in new fuel, starting using starter fluid (runs for about a second, then engine dies again) NO INFO ON WEB SITE (THE MODEL NUMBER ISN'T EVEN RECOGNIZED!) NO MANUALS, NOT EVEN AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT (JUST PHONE NUMBERS AND I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY CELL MINUTES ON HOLD!)

WHERE CAN I GET INFO SO I CAN TRY AND DETERMINE WHY THIS THING WON'T WORK?

    Question:
Broken pack support for Pc needs repair.
    Details:

4 year old Poulon Pro PPBP30 leaf blower...used only 2x each season...back support snapped off
(NO, I did NOT drop it, no other damage or scratches.
Rubber gaskets and its bolts separated. Took it to local Poulon repair.
Told it would cfost well over $200 to repair in clouding parts. told not to do it.
    I am FRUSTRATED.
Poulon should put me in contact with local  (zip 11976) repair shop.
This is a FAILURE in design.
Need it repaired...ASAP...without this severe cost which is NOT MY FAULT.

Frankly I wish I could get my money back for the Poulan Pro...Answeredescalated1
General Product Question posted October 31, 2011 by Richard Arps
    Question:
Frankly I wish I could get my money back for the Poulan Pro BVM200VS. I can not start it. I've taken it to a service center and he can get it started easily. After he has started it I can restart it.
When I drive home (15 miles), I can't start it. I have been back to the dealer 5 times and the story is always the same. Maybe 79 is too old to be fooling with blowers.

    I bought a 24" Poulan Pro PR624ES snowblower only two...escalated1
General Product Question posted February 29, 2012 by Brian
    Question:
I bought a 24" Poulan Pro PR624ES snowblower only two months ago and after only a couple light uses it has major concerns:

    1) It will not go in reverse as it should. The reverse option is just a slower forward speed.

    2) Major kickback and engine shuts off.

    3) Gas leaks and it actually started a small fire in my driveway today.

Needless to say I'm very disappointed with the lack of quality. After calling customer service I kept getting directed to other phone numbers to call for assistance. I called a local service shop who plans on taking a look at it. Very disappointed in the customer service of this product along with the product itself.

Service & Maintenance Question posted December 12, 2014 by Tyler Patterson
    Question:
I bought a 24" poulan pro snowblower 2 years ago from Costco and since the first day I used it it has left trails of snow o either side regardless of how much snow is on the ground. I've adjusted the sliders to all positions and nothing has worked. Is there any way to fix this problem?
