General Product Question posted June 11, 2011 by John Thomasson
    Question:
My Husqvarna 128LD string trimmer keeps dying on me. I bought it recently, and I could never get it running right the first time I used it. Then, I carefully reread the starting instructions, and the second time I used it, after warming it up, it seemed to run fine. However, the third time I used it, I let it warm up, and it began to die after about 20 minutes. Every restart gave me only another 30 seconds of operation, so I got frustrated and put it down. Am I going to have a continuing problem with this?

    Question:
I purchased a Husqvarna 128LD from Lowes several years ago. It has done a good job prior to this season. After the worst winter in decades it is being...difficult. I automatically blamed t on ethanol. Running ruff and dying at WOT. so I have replaced the carb, new fuel and filter, new spark plug, new air filter. I even purchased a adjustment tool for the new carb. The trimmer fire right up each time. I got the low side adjusted and idle speed is good. But when I try to adjust the high side it bogs and shuts down? Frustrated to say the least. I cant find any recalls on this unit or I am not looking in the right place.I think it is the ignition bt I keep spending money and time and you guys probably is where I should have come first.

General Product Question posted March 14, 2012 by doug edmunds
    Question:
Will my attachments fit on any Husqvarna gas-powered multi-tools?

I have a Poulan multi-tool with several attachments (edger, pole saw, trimmer). The electric motor burned out. I can get a Poulan Pro PP133 (and end up with a second trimmer), but I've seen reviews recommending Husqvarna.

Will my attachments fit on a Husqvarna gas-powered unit? I know they won't fit on a Swisher E4-U3000 because the connection design is different.

    Question:
I recently purchased a Husqvarna 128LDx. A 128DJx was sent instead. I read in another post:

    http://answerarmy.com/posts/858dc3b512

According to the company website the 128DJx is not supposed to have the same features as the 128LDx - no multiple attachments or Tap'nGo, auto return stop switch.

    /images/us/products/trimmers/compare-trimmers/?nid=99467,360932

When I look at the 128DJx box, it says it has all these features.

Is the website incorrect? I tried calling the toll free number, and they just read off the website.

    Question:
I just bought a new Husquarna 128LD and would like to know if my ryobi attachments will work with this trimmer. I have read that they will, but then I read that they will only work with the 128LDX. Please advise.

General Product Question posted July 20, 2011 by Jack L Workman
    Question:
    Hello,
We purchased a Husqvarna HVT52 Hovering Trimmer this week from Pile Hardware in Charleston WV. We have 3 problems: 1. How do we get our employees to use the hovering trimmer? 2. How do we get the HVT52 hovering trimmer to mow at 3". The trimmer is setup to cut at the highest and the cut is close to the ground. How do we know if the engine is running fast enough to lift the mower? 3. Can the trimmer be hung from the wall by its handle? Note that the trimmer has only been used about 10 minutes and it does not interest any of out employees or associates. We need help. Also The drawings of the height set up are poor in the literature as is the description.
    Thank you,
    Jack L Workman

General Product Question posted May 17, 2012 by Mark Harrison
    Question:
Just purchased the 128ld line trimmer and noticed that the sign attached to the store product stated that .080 line should be used which contrary to the .095 suggested line use on the actual box containing the product. I checked the owners manual several times and cannot find the recommended line use. I have also viewed the online video that shows how to load the line but doesn't specify line size. Could you please tell me what line size I should be using and direct me to the page in the manual that explains this? Thanks!

I ordered (on line) a Husqvarna String Trimmer model...Answeredescalated1
General Product Question posted April 11, 2011 by Jerry McKeown
    Question:
I ordered (on line) a Husqvarna String Trimmer model #952711968, Sears Item # 07179149000 on March 24, 2011. I ordered this trimmer because it had a "full crank gas" engine. I received a string trimmer with serial # 11021N101295 with model #952711969 not 952711968 which I ordered. The trimmer appeared to be exactly as ordered with the exception of the model # last 2 degits being 69 instead of 68 as I had ordered. I spoke with Johnny at Sears Wolfchase in Memphis and he assured me that the trimmer I received was the same one that I had ordered and it did have the "full crank gas" engine that I wanted. Neither the box nor the owners' manual I received ("128CD and 128LD) had any reference to a "full crank engine" which I had ordered. Please tell me if I got the correct trimmer and if so why the numbers were different. My order confirmation # was 220970004 and my sales check # was 093002702030. Thanks for your help.
