Warranty Question posted August 15, 2011 by Mike Tomich
    Question:
I just received my 128djx on Wednesday. I mixed new gas with the oil that came with the trimmer and cranked it up. It starts and runs fine until you actually start cutting grass where it does not seem to have any power, further when you tilt it, it s just stops like it is running out of gas. I took it into the local servicing dealer on Saturday and while he is going to look at it, he is telling me that it may not be covered under warranty if there is a problem with something in the carb. I am hoping this is not true. My chain saw (a husqvarna) always runs fine as did my last weed eater which I had for 10 years without any issues. Is this the case? If it is, its not much of a warranty.

    Question:
I tried to register my 324DLX String Trimmer via online registration and always received an error message when I clicked submit.

When will this problem be fixed by Husqvarna?
    Details:

Poor website sub-routines.  Please fix and send me an email when everyone can register their new products.  Seems the products work well but the internet support does not.

Warranty Question posted May 12, 2015 by Gern Blanston
    Question:
I have a Husqvarna string trimmer 125L that will not start. I replaced the spark plug. There seems to be no spark when pulling the string. It looks to me like the ignition coil needs replaced. Looking at the warranty, it reads "Lifetime Warranty: Trimmer shafts, ignition
coils and modules." I called the 800 number and they knew nothing about this and referred me to a local service center, who in turn, said they only service products that they sold.

Where do I go to get this warranty part replaced. They are over $100 if I buy it myself!

    Question:
I have a serious problem involving a "STARTER HUB SPRING" on a Poulan model PP330. This unit is used with a number of different attachments and represents a sizable expense. This starter issue keeps my machine in the shop all the time. This hub spring is a manufacturing nightmare.

As a member of a number of National organizations,
I have a voice ! Maybe someone in the NRA membership would know how to deal with this
     Problem of defective Poulan equipment.
But before I ask that question of thousands of NRA members, I was in hopes that you might
wish to address this issue with a design flaw that should have been RECALLED.

    Thank you ( I Hope)

I have about 2.5 hours of running time on this trimmer and have had to have this
Spring replaced twice now. At $25.00 bucks a pop.

The repair shop says this spring is a manufacturing “nightmare”. I have a lot of
money tied up in Poulan equipment, including a Pro 20hp lawn tractor.

Are you going to admit you goofed and recall that spring with a version
that would not give up so easily?

Could you send me 2 or 3 of these springs So at least my trimmer isn't in the shop all the time.

Or give me a replacement "new version" that will let me use my attachments ( brush trimmer, pole saw, line trimmer etc.)

Warranty Question posted March 3, 2013 by Bruce Gittleman
    Question:
I just purchased a 128cd Trimmer and the local dealer told me that he can't fix nor replace the trimmer because the internal springs aren't working properly for the head to operate. I can use the motor portion for the edger attachment but not the trimmer. He said I should get another one since it's covered under the warranty but didn't have any in stock.

Can you replace just the trimmer piece since the unit is still under warranty? I've tried replacing just the head but the trimmer still won't operate as noticed by the dealer.

Thanks for your time and all your help.

    Cordially,

Bruce Gittleman aka "J&B Lawn Service"

The fuel line is a different color than the other one could it be possible I got a rebuilt weed-eater? Is this covered under warranty? or will Husqvarna just send me fuel line to replace it?

Warranty Question posted June 15, 2014 by STEVEN CRANE
    Question:
I purchased a 128 LD Husqvarna String Trimmer on 05/15/14 and I had to register online 3 times before I finally got a confirmation Email that it was registered, now my Question is Since I purchased 3 cans of Fuel to extend the warranty to 4 years, I was hoping to get some kind of confirmation showing the warranty period. I did download a copy of the receipt, but would like to know that this went through and was received and that the warranty has been extended to 4 years. don't want to need service 3 years down the road and be told my warranty was only 2 years, so it would be nice to have some kind of record to show this has been extended. Thank you Steve crane
