I purchasd a handheld Husqvarna 125B blower in June of 2008...Answeredescalated1
Warranty Question posted December 7, 2011 by James Arnold
    Question:
I purchasd a handheld Husqvarna 125B blower in June of 2008 and as performance goes I have been really impressed. However the quality of construction has not measured up to what I thought Husqvarna represented. As the general manager for a state botanical garden I viewed Stihl and Husqvarna in the same catagory of high quality landscape equipment. This is the reason I am so disappointed to discover that my blower experienced oil leaking due to lose screws and a recently discovered cracked piston housing which propably occurred due to its "soft" alloy metal! Two questions: 1)is this product on a recall list? and 2)is this problem or defect covered in a warranty that the Husqvarna people would honor? I look forward to hear your response!

Warranty Question posted November 22, 2011 by Rich Havanec
    Question:
Hi. I purchased a 350BT backpack blower just about a month ago – The unit has never remained operating with the choke closed. Seems to run fine with the choke open, but as soon as I close it the unit stalls (even after using it for an hour+). I originally thought that I just needed to break it in but now I suspect something is wrong with it. I’ve only used it twice, and the gas/oil mix is fresh/correct (even using 93 octane). Is there an easy way to adjust this? I’d hate to have to pay for service since the unit is brand new and it looks like I’m past the 30 days :(

Scott, Thank you for responding to my knocking sound...Answeredescalated1
Warranty Question posted September 12, 2011 by David M
    Question:
    Scott,
Thank you for responding to my knocking sound described in my last post on my 350bt blower. You advised low smoke oil and high octane fuel. As mentioned, my local Husky dealer mixed my oil and fuel. They used low smoke Husky two stroke oil, and I filled the fuel at the prescribed amount with no ethenol and i used 92 octane fuel from a local distrubutor who ensures me that it was fresh fuel. The station is in a moderatly poplulated area, so I know it is not old. So, is some spark knock normal for this blower? If so, why does my Husky trimmer and my Husky hedge trimmer not make any spark knock using the same oil fuel mix? Thanks for your help in this matter.

    I purchased a factory refurbished HUSQVARNA 150BT Backpack...Answeredescalated1
Warranty Question posted November 11, 2011 by Robert Parrin
    Question:
I purchased a factory refurbished HUSQVARNA 150BT Backpack Blower. On receipt I filled it with fuel an pressed the priming bulb. Fuel poured out of the engine on my hand and driveway. It looked to me that the carburetor gasket was missing. The dealer sent me a replacement unit which works great. Unfortunately, it cost me $17.81 to return the defective unit. It seems only fair that Husqvarna reimburse me for this cost. Please advise how I can make a claim. Thank you.

    Question:
I have a BT 150 blower, six months old. It is making a loud rattle noise from the inside of the engine. It has been at the "authorized" service center for three weeks. they think it is a wrist pin. Will It be repaired or will I receive a new blower since it is so new and that is major engine repair?

Warranty Question posted October 31, 2011 by gregg babbitt
    Question:
contacted your dept. about a warranty problem and jessica hung up on me. thought maybe my problem could be worked out.guess not. thought maybe since my blower was less than a year old and my fuel mixture was correct. we could pro-rate a new blower to keep a customer happy. guess not. just hung up the phone on me. my ticke number was 92875721.. never dealt with a company like this before, that wont help with a product that was less than a year old.how can a product meltdown, when i add a little more than the recemended amount of oil,mix it in a gallon can, only put a gallon of gas in that can. use the container of oil supplied with the product? i went through proper channels to try to get service, was told that i have a piece of junk.

I purchased a new 125B Husqvarna Blower in October of 2011....Answeredescalated2
Warranty Question posted February 21, 2012 by *** McFarland
    Question:
I purchased a new 125B Husqvarna Blower in October of 2011. This week it would not stay running and was leaking fuel. Knowing that there is 2 year warranty on the blower, I called Husqvarna to find the nearest authorized Husqvarna repair shop and took it in for repairs. They were going to call me when the problem was diagnosed and instead called the next day, talked with my wife to tell me that it was ready and there would be a $35.50 charge on it because fuel related issues were not covered by warranty.

When I picked up the blower I was told that the fuel line needed to be replaced because it had deteriated from the Ethanol in the gas. My question is, Where in the warranty , manual or on the Husqvarna website does it ever say not to run gasoline with Ethanol or the results if you do? I called customer service at Husqvarna to no avail.

    Question:
    Hello,

I just bought a 350BT, got it from Amazon.com, when it showed up the clamp that holds the throttle lever in place was broken (looks like p/n 544 27 59-02). Do I need to return this to amazon or is there another way to get it fixed?

    Thanks very much!!
