    My kids gave me a 125B blower s/n 20121000028 for fathers...escalated
Warranty Question posted September 21, 2013 by Timothy Annis
    Question:
My kids gave me a 125B blower s/n 20121000028 for fathers day 2012 that was purchased from Lowes on June 9, 2012. Son paid for it and never gave me the receipt and is now stationed in Japan. I registered it on line last week and never got the confirmation Email.
Took it to a repair shop and there was no record of me in the Husqvarna warranty database. Unit has 2012 s/n I would expect the 2 year warranty to last at least until Dec. 31, 2013 without question. What should I do?

Warranty Question posted August 13, 2013 by Nathaniel Primus
    Question:
I have a model 125B blower. I bought this blower in April 2012. It comes with a 2 year consumer warranty and a 2 year emission control warranty.

One day this July, my blower just died while I was using it. I took it to Hilliard Truck & Auto, the Husqvarna dealer and service center where I originally bought it. These guys "repaired" it and gave it back to me. When I took it out to start it, it would not. I took it back to them and they said give them a couple of days. When I called them back after a few days, they told me it was repaired and it was going to cost $90+ for the repair. Keep in mind, this blower only cost me $149. I went to discuss this with them. They initially told me "Husqvarna does not cover any fuel-related issues". I asked the service manager, "how can this be a fuel-related issue when my equipment has never seen ethanol gas?" Oh, the BS starts flowing at this point. Their own mechanic came in the office and said it was NOT a fuel-related issue, but a "stretched" diaphragm. The service manager insisted that the problem was fuel related.

I have repaired small engines since I was a kid. I can tell you, a diaphragm that has seen ethanol fuel does not stretch...it cracks! I went around and around with these guys, then I sent my complaint to Husqvarna's escalation department (escalation # 93323133). They agreed with my complaint, but told me that they could NOT override the service department! REALLY?

After much frustration and anger, I have paid Hilliard Truck & Auto (who overcharged me, anyway) $60 to get my blower back.

Why, HUSQVARNA, will you not honor your warranty? I've done everything "by-the-book". I've NEVER used ethanol-gas, I always comply with your specific starting procedure, I always use Husqvarna 2-cycle oil via the prescribed mix...and I am very disappointed with Husqvarna USA right now. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed in a company I've put so much faith in. I still put a lot of fault in Hilliard Truck and Auto for perpetuating lies and their "our-word-against-yours" attitude. But, HUSQVARNA USA should be ashamed with these results.

My wife purchased a 125B blower for me on November 26, 2012....escalated
Warranty Question posted July 10, 2013 by Steven Hunt
    Question:
My wife purchased a 125B blower for me on November 26, 2012. I have started using it more and was having problems with it starting. After troubleshooting this I found that the fuel line inside the fuel tank appears to be too long and loops back up to the top of the fuel tank. This results in the tank needing to be at least 3/4 full in order to operate. I'm assuming this would be deemed a manufacturer defect but am not sure. I'm able to use it but again, it must be nearly full in order to operate.

Please advise if I need to send the unit in for repair or can a replacement part be shipped.

Warranty Question posted June 4, 2013 by Frank Polizzi
    Question:
Ten months ago I purchased a Husqvarna 125-B blower. Until now this unit has been doing a great job. Today the blower quit and I took it to a local "Authorized Husqvarna Dealer." The dealer was not where I purchased this blower and they implied at the time of drop off that if I wasn't using the correct fuel repairs would not be covered under the warranty. Within forty-five minutes I received a call from the technician/owner that the gas in the tank smelled stale and that repairs would not be covered under the warranty. I can vouch that the gas was no more that three weeks old and has been running fine in all my other 2-cycle lawn equipment. My questions are. How can one come to the conclusion that the fuel is bad with no lab tests on the fuel and how can one determine that the problem is not due to a failed part without removing one screw or cover from the machine. And lastly What will Husquvarna do to back up my warranty?

Warranty Question posted June 14, 2017 by Cmac
    Question:
Where do I find the product # so I can register my 125BVx blower I just bought. I entered 125BVx but it dosen't take it. I entered the SU part # from Lowes and it dosen't like that. This blower is starting to be a real pain in the ***. I can't even register it. Now it won;t even stay running. It will start and run for about a minute then it revs up and dies. Can I take it to an authorized deler and have them tune it properly at no cost to me. Iv'e only used it once, and bought it a week ago.
