The original Spark Plug is a NGK(R) BPMR7A and from a dealer they sold me a Champion CJ8Y which I assume is a resister type. The air gap on the plug is .012. I did have the the ground wire off the stop/start switch. The gap for the flywheel magnets (which are good) to the coil is a dollar bill tickness. I even used a calling card thickness. The flywheel is fine and spinning the piston when I pull the cord. I put the spark plug in the spark plug wire and hold the plug to the engine head in a dark room and pull the cord fast. NO SPARK. When I bought the new coil from the dealer that had a different part number which you stated that they were the same and okay, I checked the resistence from the tip of the Plug wire to the coil core and the readings(.0067) were the same between the two (Original and replacement). I returned the replacement to the dealer which he almost didn't want to take back. The cost was around $70.00. I've worked on small engines many times but apparently not ones that are made by the swedes. What am I missing?  Thanks a bunch.
